What pad are you using with yours 11x? Lots of talk of the Synmat 9 working well but i don't think that one is available anymore (at least not at REI)? Thanks!
amok's new fjol pad looks like a carbon copy of the synmat 9, but quieter, and unless my maths are failing, cheaper than the exped synmat as well
exped downmat 9 would work too (and cost more) synmat 3-d 7 should be fine
(basically any long tube pad that's 25inches by 78inches)

At first I was using the amok pad with great success. Then I bought a used dramur and used a synmat 9 in it. I have decided to send back the new one due to the fact I am a tad cramped in it and will definitely order an xl as soon as they are available. My daughter uses the used one for now and I take naps in it. The synmat 9 works well.

Quickly put up a turtledog style stand (rough, ugly but functional) to fiddle a bit. I like the pad super full but it makes it tough to fold the foot over the way jonas always demonstrates.

Thanks Tikker! First time I've seen anyone discuss/photograph an Amok in a turtledog. Have you been in the hammock while on the TD stand? Just curious if the stand seems to perform well with a perpendicular hammock?
honestly, close your eyes, and you can't tell it's not trees. it works great, and I think it took 30 minutes to put together, with 10 of those being the trip to the hardware store. I keep chickening out on making review vids, but one of these days I may get around to it
Had the boy take a couple quick pics. you don't see a lot of images of recline mode either. it's a fantastic lounger imo
