    I had one like that back in the 80's. The one I used at Fort Polk was similar but green LOL.

    You know it! I let someone borrow it and they never returned it and conveniently forgot that I let them borrow it. I figured spending jail time wasn't worth it. By that time, AAFES quit selling them for 'safety reasons'.

    "Safety Reasons?" I was out a year or so, between active duty and the guard. They vanished in that time. I was wondering what happened!

    Another name from the past whose work inspired much is Ray Garlington.

    But it was Risk whose work really got me into hammocks. I was happy when he finally returned.
