    Makeshift footbox?

So I recently had a double layer 1.1 hammock made and kinda wish I had gotten the knotty mod done... I don't have the money or time right now to send it off so I'm thinking of forming a footbox some other way such as running a length of shockcord from my ridgeline down to the fabric. I think it'll do the trick for just keeping my feet/sleeping bag from sliding out but looking for ideas on how to connect it to the fabric that don't involve sewing. Thoughts?

Thnx, I do have a couple of those tarp attachments, planned on trying if another idea didn't come about. The ones that I have are kinda big but oh well.

Super simple. I even tried out the mod in the field with a needle, thread, and shockcord. I just loosely sewed the thread around the shock cord at 1/2" spacing to make a temporary casing. This allowed me to change the tension. Soon as I got home a proper Knotty mod was made.
