Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the strength to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.
I guys, would be very nice to see some pictures from this area
I was always interested by the rich huge forests and its trees. Not very soon, but I definitely will come to visit. I see you can hammock where you want, and apart of the tree huggers length problem, is there anything to keep in mind? I would survive scouring the area even without hammock, just to enjoy and photograph. So let me ask you, which season is the best to visit considering the weather?
Let's see- Spring- weather is getting warmer and drier, people are getting out more, over wintering birds have flown, nice time to hike. Summer-lots of people, warm and sunny more often (it's rarely hot on the coast), drinking water harder to find. Fall- fewer people, birds are returning, weather changeable. Winter-wild and lonely (except on holiday weekends), weather can be wet and windy, wildlife is active (eagles, raccoons, deer, coyotes, cougars and bears)-my favorite time to backpack the coast!
Thanks !! More or less the same as in Slovakia.
when do I get these colors? autumn or winter?
That could be an early spring photo- not sure. The mossy trees in the rain forest look like this all the time-just depends on the lighting. My previous post was about the Olympic National Park coastal (ocean) strip. The rain foests you will find inland along the major rivers-Hoh, Queets, Quinault.
Thank you again, I will come back with some questions from time to time again Greetings from Slovakia.
