    HH factory-style suspension

I'm wondering if anyone can help me figure out how to tie a HH factory-style suspension setup to a non-HH hammock. I want to replicate the HH setup exactly for my wife in another hammock, so that setup is the same (HH line to the HH knot in tree huggers). I realize I could just whip the ends of a hammock and lark's head some line on, but I think it might be nice to do it the HH way as a learning experience. I can't find a video anywhere, and all the search results I find are instructions for replacing the HH suspension instead of replicating it.

Also you can probably find patent disclosures for hh on Google patents.

Rather than melt holes in my new hammock, however, I decided to take a big swig of the whoopie sling kool-aid.

The newer Hennessy Expedition (c. 2015) uses a double-loop and some kind of hitch (?) similar to ENO or other standard gathered end hammocks. Here are a couple pics of my Hennessy this evening as I was converting to whoopie slings. Hope this helps.

The video that I'm referring to:

I found the factory supention to heavey and very time consuming. I replaced with cinch buckles and 15ft tree straps from Dutchware. By far the easiest way to set up.

Yeah!!!.....I can't imagine anyone trying to replicate the horrible stock HH suspension on purpose when there are at least a half dozen or more better options. Glad to hear that you squashed that bad idea.
