Kids pushing Whoopies to the limit!

So I hung my old Grand Trunk Traveler (think that is what it was called....short narrow little thing I picked up at REI Outlet many years ago) up in the yard and only turned my back for a moment when the my and the neighborhood kids piled into it . It has Whoopies on it to reduce weight as I keep it in my everyday bag just in case. Those kids pushed the whole thing to its limits!

Must have been four or five kids between seven and twelve years old in it at any given time. They were bouncing and swinging and every manner of torture imaginable. I thought for sure those Whoopies would be trashed, but low and behold they were perfect, nary a scratch. Oh and the hammock actually survived fairly well too.

So for those concerned about the durability of Whoopies, stop worrying.....kid tested!

Similar deal at my house. Woopies remain unphased but the stitching on the tree straps began to fail due to being set up wrong. A quick repair and some training for all the neighbors on how to set it up so nobody gets hurt and a short lecture about not being so rough, they are back at it still getting pretty crazy when they think I am not paying attention. I suppose they could be trying to sneak something worse. For now I let them think they are getting away with it. I suppose that makes it parent approved.
    Mind over matter,
if you don't mind, it don't matter
