Well, you've just made sure that I will never post any of my DIY projects, after seeing this. All of mine come out looking ugly as homemade sin. That is a work of art. Well done Sir!!

I cannot fathom the patience that had to have taken. It has already been said, but that is a beautiful piece of art. Truly amazing.

Way beyond the necessary, solidly into artistry. It surely must be the greatest jealousy inspiring quilt on hammock Forums?

Now I definitely can't start a down diy project. It will be just garbage compared to what you created. I'll just start saving money to buy yours years from now when you upgrade to your second Michelangelo design

I really appreciate how the thread changes from white to blue when you run into a stripe! That's lovin' you don't get out of a factory.

How much stuffing did you put in there? Looks pretty warm...
Thanks...and that was what I was going for.... NOT factory made!!!

I used 5.5 Oz of 850 water resistant down....should take me to mid 30's, maybe a bit colder. It lofts ~1.5" or so

Oh come on....all my DIY projects started out what I like to call "looks good from 10 feet", but they are functional and thats what matters!!!! It's taken me 3+ years of constant DIY and practice to pull this off... and it is not perfect. I could point out at least a dozen mistakes on it....but no one will ever notice them but me....

Thank you. I have way too much patience....if I could bottle it and sell it, I'd be a millionaire. I wish I could be that patient with the wife.....

Haha....it is WAY beyond the necessary....thats kind of how I roll sometimes. My wife hates it... Oh she was mad the last two nights when all I did was work on this thing...I just wanted it done! And I don't know about inspiring jealousy and all that....I've seen UGQ put out some really great custom quilts....those were kind of my inspiration to create something very unique and "artistic"

That is a phenomenal quilt. Way to go! A one of a kind beauty. I'm planning on getting into the DIY thing this fall and seeing a quilt like that is an inspiration to some day be able to create something like that.
