I started with a SF and was happy until I tried a WL OMW.
I am convinced that the custom options available on the OMW make it the most versatile tarp 4 season tarp out there.
Having a center stake out, in addition to 4 corner stake outs, gives the OMW the ability to maintain greater resistance to side wind pressure.
I added pole pockets to accept an internal pole mod that really gives me enough configurations to weather all conditions (excluding dead falls and direct lightning strike).

The SuperFly is amazing, light, and quick to setup. Other than the stock fly that came with my HH Asym, this is the only other tarp I've used...so take that into account.

That is a great looking tarp! Been thinking about multi-color for my next one...

I have several Superflies (what is the plural?), several OMW's, and an SLD Winter Haven. I love them all.

The SF is 1.1 material, my OMW's are 1.2, and my WH is 1.4. The WH does feel more durable, but I use the SF most often, and haven't had any issues. The SF is lighter (not that important to me), but packs much smaller (very important to me).

Both Wilderness Logics and Simply Light Designs will offer plenty of customization options, while not so much with the SF. In addition to what's listed on the web pages, SLD will work with you to do pretty much anything you are looking for that isn't listed. It's possible that WL will too, but I've never tried any requests outside of what's on the site.

In all three cases, customer service and quality is outstanding.

I have a Wilderness Logics OMW. Love it. Pretty believe most all of the comments are spot on. I have a friend a JRB and one using the SLD. all are great options.

So, I'd been meaning to do this for a while, but never got around to it. I laid most of my tarps out flat in my back yard, and I made sure to line up the ridgelines accurately, and spread them out flat. Other than wrinkles, they are pretty flat. The big exception is that I loaned my Kelty Noah 12 to a friend, so that one isn't included here. It would've been helpful to see it in this pile.

Anyway, since I was sort of getting over a cold, my heart was only halfway into this. I could have done a much more thorough job taking measurements, and staking things taught. Once I get the Kelty back, I'll hang then all together and take some more pictures. But, in case this is helpful...

Also, I remembered that the SLD Winter Haven that I have was a 13' RL, so that's another reason why it packs so much bigger than the Superfly and the Old Man Winter.

SLD WH 13 (actual RL is 12'10"), with AquaQuest 13 on top (actual RL is 12'6"):

Added 11' WL OMW on top (actual RL about 11'):

Added Warbonnet Superfly digital camo on top (actual RL about 11') -- there is actually a second OMW in olive added between the black OMW and the SF:

Yukon Outfitters Tarp (actual RL about 12'1"):

Jacks R Better 1.9 hex tarp (actual RL about 11'):

After going through this exercise, I'm surprised how much wider the SLD WH is than the SF and the OMW. I'm also pleasantly surprised by how big the Yukon tarp is, too.

Not sure if this helps anyone, but it helped me, since I'm going to be selling some of these in the near future.

I have a WL Big Daddy with doors placed on it by 2QZQ, and a Superfly. Both work great.
    Straight out of Clayton.

Most physical hike: Grandfather Mountain, NC. Aug 13.

I don't need to make my pack lighter. I need to make my (_*_) lighter.
