First Time Tarp help

I am building a winter tarp (DIY Gear Supply) out of Silpoly and do not plan to do cat cuts. I still am not sure if I need to cut from the ridge line to the door tie-outs on an angle in order to have doors. Wont I still be able to have doors if I just have a rectangle for a tarp?

No you don't have to cut. I made rectangular tarps and the ends work fine as doors without any mods. This tarp is a 12ftx10ft.

Ok thanks - maybe I am just lazy but this saves me some time and risk of making a mistake. Love the 2 tone tarp
