I should be good this time. Got a brand new jeep patriot that I'll have down this time. The 15 year old Jimmy is off to the scrap yard.

    What's a "Wing Nite"

Seems that I mentioned a "Wing Nite" in one of the posts in this thread. Somebody asked for more info about what a Wing Nite is. Here goes ...

"Wing Nite" is a three day gathering of folks from the BWCA.com site. Though most share a common interest in Boundary Waters canoe trips, everybody is welcomed by this fun group of folks.

Wing Nite started out about eight years ago as a simple small gathering of folks from the Boundary Waters forum (BWCA.com) at a Twin Cities area restaurant for wings and beer. It has grown into a fairly large weekend gathering at a Twin Cities area campground including a famous Saturday night pot luck feast where everybody shares a dish. It is still primarily canoe folks who share a Boundary Waters bond, but everybody is welcome.

I personally have never attended a Wing Nite, but had the event on my Bucket list when this fall's Wing Nite was announced for September 24, 25, and 26th. I've rearranged my scheduled BWCA trip so I can attend.

If you want to attend, here's a link to the BWCA. com site with details: http://www.bwca.com/index.cfm?fuseac...ID=12&confID=1

Well we are talking about this again huh? lol Being that I am up here in Silver Bay and being that My wife and I headed this up last year. I suppose I can grab the bull by the horns and do it again. I have the winter off work so I'll be free to do recon on a location. We do have to move the sight as decent firewood is scarce in that location. All in favor say aye, all opposed say nay.
