I plan to arrive Thursday before it gets dark. I know where the old campsite was but I'm not sure where the new one is. Just further north?

Just hike the trail until you get the campsite marker #2 and turn north off the trail, follow the creek and it runs right into the valley, same place it's been for the last few years

I thought I was going to attend, but as it turns out I won't be. I only was able to do a quick visit in the Spring, so missing the Halloween Hang is a big deal. Hope to see you all next year. I look forward to reading the trip report.

There are several pools of water and it's clear and cool. Phone reception is doable as long as you go up the hill from the fire pit. There is some water running on the north creek... It rained here again last night maybe an inch... So it should be good.
I plan on coming in on Thursday afternoon and I'll be hiking in from the hill not the tower ridge. I can help call as my pack is light. I'm going to mark the trail with orange as to guide a friend in Friday so if you see it you can follow it . It will be marked with the name chris in it.
