BPL testing of Ripstop by the Roll Silpoly PU4000

Wanted to pass along some really good news regarding our existing and soon to be expanded line of Silpoly PU4000 materials. In a recent independent test by the fabric guru Richard Nisley over at Backpacking Light, our 1.1 oz Silpoly PU4000 was ranked as the #1 non-cuben tent fly material out of a field of 6 premium materials tested. Not only was our HH confirmed to be > 3500 mm, it was also confirmed to remain > 3500 mm after 5,200 wet flex cycles designed to simulate field use.

I didn't even know about the testing until someone told me, nor do I know the guy doing the testing, so the results are about as unbiased and objective as they come.

According to the feedback from the report some DIY tent makers plan to use Silpoly to make their next tent.
