SO my WBBB XLC arrived a few days away and I can't say just how impressed I am with it. The quality of the construction was more then worth the wait. I would like suggestions on what the best angle to hang it would be? I've tried several different angles and can't seem to find the perfect hang. Just looking for any input so I can find that sweet spot. Thanks!
I here alot about angle hang, when i tie to a tree i start out at about a foot above my head on my suspension on both sides then i tune in from there. Keep it simple. I hang alot and this is how i do it. Happy hanging.
30° angle is what most people shoot for. Look up the book The Ultimate Hang. It is written by a fellow forum member. It is a very good read. It covers a little bit of hammock history and all the information that a new hanger should look for.
