Hi All, So the recent pillow thread got me thinking about comfort in my hammock. I have tried rolled up clothing in a stuff sack, but I just can not get comfortable that way. So I tried to come up with something that would work well in a hammock that would be light but would also give enough support to help maintain the comfort of the hammock. For me it is mostly my neck that needs a little bit extra.
So I sat down at the Thread Injector and sewed up some hammock pillows. These are 1.1 oz ripstop DWR, filled with Climashield HL. They are 7"X11" with 3" of loft. I added a 25 inch shock cord tether with a mitten clip on the long end to clip to the hammock ridge line to keep it from slipping down when you sit up. I am including a small stuff sack that compresses the pillow to 4"x10" with a micro cord-lock. Weight on them is 4 oz. in the stuff sack with the shock cord line. I have a handful of these made up in black but could do some in other colors if someone would like something else.
