Internal ridge line on a WBRR

I wanted to be able to hang a few (light) things from the inside of the bugnet on my much-beloved Warbonnet Ridgerunner. A couple of plastic D-rings and a hank of Lash-it later and it is done and looking good!

3/4" D-rings from Quest Outfitters and a mitten hooks from Dutch. I used a Brummel splice for the fixed mitten hook and a simple cod-lock for the adjustable end.

How did you attach the D rings? I just got a WBRR this week and how I do love the saddlebags I would like a ridgeline for a small light and have been trying to figure out a way to do it without modifying anything too much.

Here's an old post of mine about adding a ridgeline to a WBRR.

The existing shock cord carries any weigh hung on the ridgeline. As stated, this is for a few very lite weight items only.

@kpi890 I just used gutermann black thread and made a series of loops at the ends of the D ring. I ran the thread through the fabric pats of the external rings. I really like the mod that gmcttr did bit I did not have any grosgrain.
