I'll second that thought about Timberr's Sunday service. Last year, my only complaint was that it ended too quickly.

We have grown to much more than just a Florida Hang. Although the Florida Hang wasn't "just" a hang, we do love to host all our Out-Of-Florida hanging family, vendors and friends, hence the name change. It's something for everyone.

Now that your bringing them camping, we can work on getting them up out of our *ahem*... "bathroom". Make sure they buy many raffle tickets to win some wonderful hammocks.

I second the appreciation of everyone signing up and putting the days you'll be there. I don't know if anyone saw the pics of the shopping trip Gumbo did last year for the food, but I think it took 5 vehicles to get all the food and equipment to the campground.

Good thing we weren't hiking in, ya'll all would have had to grab a bag. No one wants food to go to waste, nor do we want to come up short on feeding anyone. Gumbo needs an accurate count on mouths to be sure she gets what's needed.

In case there is left over, we share with the location staff and local community. No waste and a good deed helping our neighbors.

I can tell you kitchen help is appreciated as well. From those who prep, cook, set up, serve and clean. Takes a lot to make food happen for over 200 people, twice a day. Gumbo is a good commander, and she gets it done with help from the troops. I am bringing my full kitchen this year to help with all the outside cooking (No cooking in the building). KingsFord and I will helping all we can to be sure Gumbo's meal plans go smoothly. I am looking forward to bumping elbows with all of you. Come on January.

Hotlips and Kingsford, Thank you so much for coming back this year. I had a great time helping last year and can't wait to do it again. Looking forward to seeing all the new gadgets and cookware you upgraded.

Richtorfla, I hope your bringing that outdoor, gravity spinner turkey cooker again. And look behind that...a garbage can turkey cooker.

Got The Terminator a sock for her RR and she is excited about taking it to the hang to use. We are looking at driving out to Oklahoma to visit daughter and her husband and play with grand kids and then drive down to the hang.

Got a firm, "Okay" from my fiance for her and my step daughter to stay at least one night at the hang. That's a long way from the "Out in the woods?! No way!" So a minor victory there. I'll be there over the whole weekend, but it will be nice to introduce my new family to my hanging family!
