    High on the neat scale, but low on the utility scale.

    Finding 3 trees in the right layout might present a problem too.

    I'm gonna pledge for one. Not essential, but might be handy for going canoe camping with my brother in Algonquin. Two hammocks for sleeping, and one for our packs/hanging gear etc. I might DIY a triangular nylon fly if we like it. Otherwise, the webbing and rings will find a second life in my "Collection of Potentially Useful Things."

    OK... All you mathematical types.... What about the 30° rule.... And the massive increase in tension on the straps? No different than running your straps tight from tree to tree. Either the formula is garbage or this system has some serious flaws. Please do some 'splainin'....

    In theory you could sag each hammock at 30 degrees AND sag the system at 30 degrees as well, but in practice it would limit your hanging options.
