October hang in the backyard. Got out there a few times. Testing a diy UQ in this pick that is still being modified Got down in the low 40s, but I was toasty warm. On to November and colder weather!

Sounds like a great challenge! I've been recently upgrading my winter kit so it would be a great test to see how I'm doing.

I'm in...........new to this hanging thing. But I have to say I am also loving.
Been camping for years and at 60 going on 20 in my head. I can't sleep on the ground any more.
Just got my Hammock two months ago in preparation for a motorcycle trip to AK in June 2016.
Slept in it four times now. I am hooked.....spending way to much on fun stuff. UQ, TQ, Dutch gear....on and on.
But I have been very comfortable in all kinds of weather so far.

Just got back from the Hoosier Halloween Hang yesterday afternoon. Lost my phone and so I don't have any pics to share. However month 3/3 done.
Get lost in the woods and find yourself again. A vacation,to me, is working with your hands and surviving because of the fruits of your labor. In the business world I teach;in the natural world I learn.

Hanging with our Boy Scout troop this rainy but warm North Carolina weekend. Very glad for the superfly as it was both wet and windy

That sounds like a great idea! Might even try and challenge my brother to see if he will get in on it also. Just need to get the rest of my gear so I can start.

Got September in with a 2 night SHT hike with a couple good friends
Got October in with a Oct 30th hang outside at Fred C Anderson Scout Camp. I may have slept better than any of the adults sleeping indoors. I'm sure they didn't miss my snoring ;-)
I'm tempted to get November in in the backyard tonight ;-)
