    Cool

Thanks for the opportunity to create! My project is a 3+ season sock to compliment my asym tarp.
    7 yards of nano noseeum
10 yards of olive xenon sil
    50 yards gray lash it
    2 x Dutch biners
Technically this doesn't sound like a tarp; however, it is actually a project to augment my Cuban asym tarp that extends its coverage/use to year-round use for northern Alabama/Tennessee. It's diabolical and everyone is going to want one once they see it!
    Thanks! G-Nut

I'm no expert but wouldn't you have to hang a 13' long tarp fairly high to avoid it running into a hammock suspension? I would think that would negate some of the 4 season coverage by having it higher. Unless you use a 12' hammock, then you might be good, but again, I'm no expert...

I'm no expert either, but yes, yes you would. The longer the tarp the higher it has to go. Bigger ain't always better folks!!

I have a 12' tarp now and the coverage over the 11' hammock is close...so 6 more inches on each end wouldn't be much of a different hang than my 12' is now...would just give me a bit more coverage on each end...

I would like to build a tarp for my AT thru next year. Needing something a bit lighter. I would like to build a 11.5ft tarp with one door and design attachment points on the other end to use my rain skirt as a door on the other end. My dream list would be:

8 yards of dark olive Xenon Sil
    10 Titanium D Rings
50 feet of Zing it for continuous ridge line an tie out lines
    2 soft shackles
    1 Dutch Wasp
    4 Tarpworms
    1 silnet seam sealer
    1 Titanium Dutch Clip
    15 foot of Grosgraine
3 ft of black 300d pack reinforcement
    1 Gutterman Thread Olive Green
1 Pair of the Clip on tarp pull outs

Thanks for doing these contests! Its is much appreciated!

    Okay,

This will be a Winter BatHouse (to the Bat Cave Batman!)

    Material list
    8 yards BLACK Xenon Sil
1/2 yard of BLACK 300D reinforcement material
    BLACK Mara 30 thread #000
    8 BLACK Beastee Dee rings.
BLACK 1.75 Dyneema CRL with yellow soft shackles (Yellow like the Bat symbol)
12 Fleaz with 48' BLACK Glow wire (yellow Zingit as an alternative).
    2 feet of BLACK grosgrain.
2 Tarp Door hooks in BLACK
A titanium Necklace stating "Spiderman ain't King 'cuz Batman Brings the Bling" (To tauntingly dangle from my killer Ridgeline when sleeping and from my neck when I visit the seedier sides of Gotham).

Under all this I will be hanging my BLACK Snipe, inside my BLACK Argon Vented Sock! I will probably have to pick up a few hundred LED Ridgelights to both find my camp at night and to aid in firing up my Bat Signal.

    Fingers crossed!

    Oh yeah,

If I win, I promise to get the Canadians to stop stockpiling Dutchware so that everyone can enjoy it. Just give me two weeks after the contest.

Thank you both Dutch and Alana once again for your generosity!

I would like to make a 12.5' hex tarp. I'd love to come up with something unique during this build, but I don't have anything solid in a plan yet that we haven't seen before. I would like to do something a little different, though not unique, and create a bi-color tarp. I would also like to create my own first Continuous ridgeline and have lash it/hookworm side ties for the tarp.

4.5 Yards Moss Green Xenon Sil
4.5 Yards Dark Olive Xenon Sil
1 Yard of black 300D reinforcement material
    5' black grosgrain
4 Beastee Dee Rings for the side panel pulls
    4 Titanium Ultralight Ascent Stakes
1 Tube Sil Net Silicone Seam Sealer
    6 Titanium D rings
1 Spool Gutermann Mara thread in Argon 1.6 Green 472
    4 hookworms with Lash It
    25' 3/32 shock cord
    50' of Black 1.75mm Dyneema
    1 Dutch Hook
    1 Wasp
    1 Pair Tato Tarp Connectors
2 Darth Vader Springless Cordlocks (double ended stuff sack)

    Good luck all!
