Hi folks.
I have finally finished my uq. I made it from a cheap sleepingbag (8 Euro's) which was 190 cm long and 150 (2 x 75) cm wide. Now the uq is 165 cm long and 123 cm wide. I have cut the sleepingbag on all four sides to make channels, through which I put shockcord (3 mm) and added cordlocks.
It is definately a summer uq, seeing as it only goes to (according to the specs) about 10 C, although I don't trust those specs much. I have another sleepingbag (the same) and will make a top quilt out of it.
This was only the second time in my life I worked with a sowing machine, so it's not perfect, but I am still extremely happy with the result and rather proud of myself .
What do you think?

The image above is on the long end, so I can tighten those up to get the uq closer to my underside.

I placed a pillow in my DIY hammock to spread it out a bit so you can see the uq better.
