Sourdough Camp Site on Fern Late Trail, Rocky Mountain National Park

I'm planning a trip to the Rock Mountain National Park starting at the Bear Lake trailhead and camping the first night at the Sourdough camp site. Is anyone familiar with this camp site? Are there places to hang a hammock there? I'm not so much the planner of this trip but more the tag along. I'm just trying to figure out if I can hang, or if I have to take a tent. Any help greatly appreciated!
    I survived the climb!

RMNP likes to have campsites far enough away from the trail that you have some privacy. I have hiked by the site and seen it from Flattop Moountain, but have never walked into the site. I guess that most sites in the Park (except for Boulder Field) have enough trees for a couple of people to hang.
It ain't what you don't know that gets you into trouble. It's what you know for sure that just ain't so.

Thanks for the info! I've pulled up the topo maps and looked at Google Earth and it looks like there are trees behind the actual camp site. I've become more concerned about the cold than the trees at this point. I've only had my gear down to 23 degrees (F). This should be an adventure.
