    Hi from New Brunswick, again!

    Hi all,

    How are you?

    Jack here.

I'm a freelance writer, and travelling cyclist. Planning on cycling across Canada next year - was supposed to do it this year, but finances didn't allow it.

Hey, maybe that was a silver lining!

Currently I own a Hennessy Scout Classic - that I'll be using to tour Canada next year. Also got a recreational hammock that I've hung in our gazebo. Nothing like lounging out in it!

Fairly recent converter to hammocks - having had my Scout Classic for a couple of years, definitely loving it. Might replace my bed with the aforementioned non-camping hammocks when I get my own place somewhere West (as this cross-country bicycle tour is a bit of an exodus!).

Below, you'll see a picture of my hammock, and current setup! Thoughts and suggestions are appreciated.

    See you on the road!

    Jack.

PS: If anyone lives West of No Funswick, and has some trees in their garden, or perhaps a goal! that I can sling my hammock in - get in touch! Would love to chat and connect!

Welcome, from the Subtropical land of Florida.

Make sure you post pics of your cycling set up for hammocking. There are a few hangers around here that love to bike and hang.
Enjoy and have fun with your family, before they have fun without you

Will do! I haven't had the opportunity to use my bike as any sort of stand or a substitute for a tree yet - but it's something I've seen on the internet. Just picked up a few things off Ebay recently to make it easier for me to put my tarp out over the hammock and then stake it out correctly - as I'm crap with knots. Will post pictures of that as and when I get the opportunity to test it.
