Hello from Paradise, Ca. I have a fascination with DIY in everything I pursue and for the past couple of months it has been hammocking. This forum has been instrumental in scratching my DIY itch. I have been playing with some Dutch bling and Elephant Trunks and they have served me well for two trips. I really love the whole splicing and knot tying aspect of this hobby. I'm looking forward to being a part of this community.

Hi neighbor. Welcome to the community - virtual and real. I'm up at the top of Pentz. I started with a DIY hammock and DIY quilt and they worked OK but looked like guano. Now I have all the store-bought stuff but haven't used any of it other than in the yard. I wish I'd stopped at the DIY stage, several hundred dollars ago.
