Video: 7 days in the Boundary Waters, 2 canoes, 3 hammocks

Check out the unique skin-on-frame canoes from Urban Boatbuilders in St. Paul. Only got video footage of 2/3 of the hammocks. I was surprised that 2 of the other canoeists had Hennessys - both had zippers, both used the stock tarp.

Nice video... Only sad that you took a trophy fish to eat.... I also realize not everyone will agree. 😉

The Northern? Most folks wouldn't consider that a trophy, but I hear ya.

Great trip! That northern pike is GREAT eating. Only been fortunate enough to have it fresh once on a trip to Canada, and I can still taste it.

Also, Urban Boatbuilders sounds like a wonderful group, and thanks to them for what they do!

Yep, we were fortunate to have Jerry on the trip who is an expert fish fileter - almost no bones which is difficult with northerns. Yep UBB are a great group. Two of the guys on the trip are on their board which is why we were able to borrow the canoes.
