    working with amsteel blue

I have some 7/64 amsteel on its way. I want to make some whoopie slings and continuous loops. what are the best instructions to follow? I've looked at some vids and picts and have the basic ideas down, but I'm curious of opinions on best practices and tutorials.

Also, i'm intersted in other things amsteel can be used for and how to do it

ps you don't need a d-splicer ,there are many other things to use ,wallmart plastic darning needle is very usefull, and plain old copper wire loop or a loop turner ,so many things
    always use tree straps please

I tried a bunch of methods and I always ended up reaching for a loop of picture hanging wire. Squeeze it into a point and it works great for splicing. Have fun - the stuff is amazing.

Here is something that I found helpful. I bought an upholstery needle to splice with and it works very well for splicing and burying.

I ordered one of these for pulling the cord through itself: http://www.dutchwaregear.com/10-loop...cing-tool.html
And after watching videos like the above, I follow the pictures at http://www.animatedknots.com/brummeldemo/index.php for the step-by-step.

Look at the stickies in the DIY forum. That's what I've been using since I started splicing.
