    2015 Hot Springs Autumn Hang

We raised $615 in the raffle!!!

This will be donated from HF members of the Hot Springs Hang in honor of Michael "Running Feather" Fitzpatrick to Southern Appalachian Wilderness Stewards (SAWS) for use in ongoing projects they have going in Linville Gorge. This is a great origination that does work to protect and maintain wilderness areas all over the south. I would encourage anyone that has interest in volenteer trail work to check them out: http://www.trailcrews.org/

A big thanks to everyone who came and participated!!

I had a wonderful weekend with all of you. I can't wait to read the personal reports from everyone and see pictures!! I look forward to next time!

I did not do much with Pictures or video this go round but. here is a few...

I'm drawn to the open country. Its where the world makes the most sense. When I put myself out there I always return with something new.

Me and the wife had a great time with you guys. Met some new folks and saw some old friends. And kudos to whom-ever was in charge of the weather.

sorry we missed this one. The Hot Springs hang was one of my first ever hammock hangs back when Ed Speer was hosting them.

I know everyone had a great time as always, I hate that I had to miss it. I will do my best to never let it happen again. The pictures are great, keep them coming.

Yes, we all had a great time as always and met some new folks as well. The weekend as always, seemed to go by way too fast, and I hope everyone made it home safely. Looking forward to the next hang.

    2015 Hot Springs Autumn Hang

Big thanks to CB, HB, and Loki for hosting a great hang. Also to Rockdawg as well for taking such good care of us. Met a lot of great folks and had a great time. Phone was off most of the weekend, but did take a couple of photos.

Few of us hike up to the top of one of the local balds. Learned a lot about the local foliage from Scrambles. Unfortunately forgot a lot about the local foliage.

Hows the water up there? I'm going from davenport to hot springs in a couple of weeks, wondering if I might die of thirst.
