Grew up with the porcelain palace on 95th and Cicero. Wish I could join you guys. Maybe another time. By the way, which uq are you getting from hg? Have been thinking about the incubator 20.

FYI I took a cruise through the Willow Springs camp today. None of the individual sites have any trees that u could hang from. Maybe in 5-10 years the trees will be big enough. It looked like group site 1 might have had some options but I didnt spend a lot of time there.

While it's a bit further, I've been out to Lake Shabonna, and had a nice weekend hang there. Even went through a pretty major storm, but the superfly kept me dry.

I'd also like to try Zion some weekend.

The last time I booked online they had pics of the site, so it was easy to guess which ones I could use for hanging. At this point, I don't see that the pics are on the reservation site anymore (unless they're not obvious and I'm just missing them).

Dan Beard campsite is very nice. They just renovated the entire site.

The perimeter of the 2 fields for tent camping are lined with plenty of trees well suited for hammocking.

It's on the des plaines river trail so there is plenty of on and off trail activity.

Shabbona is considerably more rural and quite nice as I've spent a lot of time in nearbye waterman. If your heading out there make sure you check out the BBQ shack in Hinkley off route 30. Or Pub West in Waterman just off 30. Large coyote population makes the night time sounds light up at times. Great fishing at shabbona lake also.

I'm jealous trixie's dad. I pulled the trigger on an incubator 0 and hope to get it in a week or so. Sounds like we will both be warm! When I get past my grandson's football games, I hope to join you guys up there next month sometime. Let me know how your 20 works for you.
