Great concept. I've never needed to use anything other than a netless hammock. But I love the innovation!

how is this different from your thunderbird model? it seems both let you zip/unzip from both sides of the netting and cover, so I guess I'm not understanding what's new about it?

I thought it was the Thunderbird model. I am with novasquid here. What is the difference?

If I got it right, this one lets you zip up both covers at the same time - pretty cool! One of the gripes I had with top covers so far was that you couldn't vent them without opening the door to the bugs.

The netting attaches to the hammock. The top cover attaches to a separate zipper on the netting. Thus its a single cover with two parts.
Its cool how you can attach it starting from either end of the hammock, no dedicated head or foot end.
