New from SW. Florida

Hello everyone from SW Florida! Have been hanging for quite a few years and vowed to never return to the ground again. I recently rode an offroad route from Florida through AL, GA, SC, NC, and Virginia with my enduro. I almost made it back to Carrabelle Fl when my rear bag containing all of my camping gear, ie: hennessy hammock, slid and rested on my exhaust. Needless to say my whole bag went up in flames. So I started asking around and was led to this site by multiple people. I cannot believe that this site has been here all along and I had no idea. I love it already, and had no idea that their were so many other addicts out there!

So my name is Mceee and I am an addict, thank you for the invite.

It's a bit last minute, but if you are looking to replace your Hennessey (R.I.P.) and want to try out a couple dozen hammocks before making your choice, there's a group hang going on near Ocala this weekend.

I used to live in Naples just off Davis. Did a lot of camping in the 10,000 islands. I miss it.

Thanks Wafflebox, I will not be able to make it this weekend, but am heading up to Ocala for the Oct 10th trip. I live in the Estates, and spend much of my time in 10,000.
