    Something missing from this Forum!

I'm a member of several different forums, like I'm sure most everyone on here is. I belong to
mostly hunting, fishing, boating type forums. This is the only one that doesn't seem to have the
backbiting, hateful, snide remarks that all the others have. I'm on a waterfowl hunting site that
I almost hate to post anything for fear of being ridiculed. Have had none of that hear. Just positive advice. Thank you everyone!!!

This is the only forum I belong to anymore for that same reason...I used to be on some for car stuff, and it was just sorting through pages of insults

This is the greatest place on the interwebs.

You're all a bunch of terrible people!!!!

Now that I have that out of the way....

I think the calmness is partly because hammocking is not exactly a full contact competitive activity.
Now if they were sharp or something.................

All around a pretty good group here.

It's what the creator(s) Mods, and Community have tried for. Works pretty well doesn't it?

I've always thought the key was it's just much easier to climb back into your hammock for a nice nap, than to bother setting each other on fire all day long.

I have to completely disagree with the op. Everyone on this forum always thinks they are above the rest.

Amen Brother. I think, in general, the disposition of those drawn to the hammock is by the nature of the hammock experience itself - cool and laid back.

Strict forum rules and diligent moderation help to keep things in check as well.

This is one place I always enjoy hanging out in.

I have to agree. I visit very few forums and belong to only a couple. I usually only join to ask one specific question that I can't find an answer to otherwise. This place is different. I enjoy interacting with people here. So very glad that I found this community. .. and dutchwaregear. Dutch is awesome. Going to order from Kyle next at RBTR because he is a fellow Tarheel, and everyone says that he is top notch too.

I agree that hammock hanging by nature is very laid back, but there is also a strong sense of folks who DIY-it and want to learn and share. And if someone is not a DIY-er and just wants to shell out money for an ENO DN, well then that's cool, too!
