Spanky (Firebox Johnson) is out of Lyman SC. I also did ghost lies on Saturday. The weather was ok, the crowd was great, the food was amazing, the raffle was off the chain and we have the best thing going hammock-wise with PSH. I'm proud to be a founding member!

It was a great time with phenomenal food (THANK YOU Hotlips and Kingsford, I need to bring a separate wallet just to put money in your jar!), great people, and plenty fine weather. No sunburn, woohoo! Thank you to everyone who made this new hanger feel welcome and put up with my questions. Can't wait for the next one!
Cheers,
Stephen
Who said you're invited to the next one? I haven't made up my mind yet. >
I used to be a somebody, now I just camp.
Tears, big soggy tears! Look what you did!

KingsFord and I enjoyed seeing old friends and meeting new ones. We survived the Monsoon Thursday night and went on to have somewhat decent weather. I want to thank all who helped us set up and tear down our kitchen. As you can see it's a large undertaking. KingsFord gets to challenge his Tetris skills at every hang. A big thanks to our kitchen helpers Stubby, Starfish_Comet, Captain Morgan and JunebugDawn. Want to give a special shout out to our dish washing crew Karebear and her sister from Florida, Ya'll rock. Thank so much for volunteering to do the dishes after each meal, it was a great help. Thank you Stubby for doing your smoker magic on some tenderloins. Thank you Country for making that wonderful Chicken Bog. First time I ever had it, hope it's not the last. Thank you to all the wonderful cooks who made dishes and desserts for the potlucks. We had a lot of great food. Thank you Pudden for the stories, and Pudden's dad for the music. I hadn't heard the "Tomatoes" song in many years, brought a smile to my face. We enjoyed feeding everyone, and we're glad you had good appetites. Thanks to everyone who contributed to the food fund jar, that's our means for purchasing the food we serve. We hope to see ya'll at a hang in the future, until then, keep it between the trees.
If you don't like my cooking there's always MRE's.***Hotlips
