    Whatz It...?

Please forgive the absolutely horrendous mouse cad work here...
Looking to see if anybody might recognize what these things are.

These little doodads are about the size of a half-dollar. They are [the black] a ring made of a heavy/stiff rubber, or soft plastic. The areas indicated in gray [same material… colored for clarity of description] are thinner, semi rigid flanges that could flex.
You could pull or poke a tuft of material through the center and it would be gripped, and held by the flanges, but the tuft could just be pushed back through the ring from the other direction to release it.

Seemed like it would be handy for joining two TQs together, one on top of each other, for colder weather.
Back in those antediluvian times when I was a little kid, I think my mom used to use them to hold our sheets and blankets together so that they wouldn't get tangled, or kicked off the bed

Anybody remember them... And/or know where you can get a hold of some?

That reminds me that thing where you can mount the piece of cloth to the Swiffer sweeper. I can imagine that thing holds sheets together.

Well... It looks like I gotta go find that old Swiffer down cellar. I think you might be right.

I remember these things from years ago. I remember them being plastic. I cannot for the life of me remember what they were used for though I believe it was in the kitchen. My mom had loads of Tupperware back then.

They also sell things like that to hold sock pairs together in the wash.

Interested in what you come up with. They call them "sock clips" on e-bay:

    Good luck!
