Had this since 2012, but it's only seen about an average of 5 nights a year, all car camping. It does have a small rip between the two layers at the footbox. It's approx. 1" wide. I do not have a photo of the rip, but it does not effect the integrity of the hammock and does not reach the outside layer. I don't feel comfortable attempting to repair it with my lack of sewing skills.

I would like to see a picture of the tear as well as the color of the fabric.
Sorry I didn't get around to posting these earlier. The quarter is there for size reference. I put a piece of paper between the double layers to make the hole more visible. Again, the hole is only between the inner and outer layer, along the seam of the footbox. It does not go through or affect the outside of hammock.

I want to add my response to a PM, in case it benefits anyone else.
A couple of quick questions
- What suspension is included?
- Is there a bugnet?
- Is there the winter cover (that replaces the removable bugnet?
- Do you have any pictures of where the hole is? Any pics of the hammock up? Holes around seams are tough.

- Suspension is webbing
- Bugnet is integrated
- This does not have a removable bugnet (original blackbird model) and does not have winter cover
- I added a picture to the original thread, same post as the tear pictures. It is the only one I have of the hammock hanging. I would have to go into the woods in the rain to get more pictures (thanks to Joaquin). As for exactly where the hole is, it is in the footbox area of the hammock on the backside. In other words, in picture below, it's the side not shown (side facing tarp).
