Tired of holes in your stake bag? Use a piece of PVC pipe longer than the stakes! But, you’ll need a top. Here’s one with the bottom of a copper tone sun screen bottle and shock cords. 6 stakes and the caddy = 6 oz.

I'd drill a bunch of wholes in the shaft to save weight, lol.
My stakes have a hook on the end that keeps them from going all the way through. Just make the tube longer than the stakes. These hooks prevent the use of a regular round cap. I coulda made a trip to Home Depot looking for a cap for a larger diameter pipe (this is made from 3/4" PVC) that would fit over the hooks, but I saw the almost empty copper tone bottle and figured what the hey.
Yeah, holes all over will save some grams in weight.
i like the shock cord cap idea.
i made something to hold stakes out of plastic from a 2 liter drink bottle.
tough stuff... & light weight.
i also carry my long handled spoon & a straw for the inflatable pillow in the same stake holder. they are all kinda long & need to be in a protected place, so they live together
here's a similar one that i made out of the plastic that a dry bag came in, but it's not holding up as well as the one made from drink bottle plastic.

the stove wind screen rides in a cut off water bottle w/ the stake holder in the middle.
