I was ready to spring for a Dutch CRL assembly with soft shackles and read a post somewhere suggesting using an Arrowhead style 2.2 Zing-It CRL with single prussic for larger tarps. Not sure if this is because of the stouter cord, less prussic use, or both. My only experience is that the Hennessy Backbacker assym fly, which is tiny, didn't seem to stay put well with their prussics, but I'm sure that has a bit to do with the silnylon and tarp suspension doubling as tarp ridgeline. I'm also wondering if a less "slippery cord" would be better for the prussic loops. Your feedback is appreciated. Thanks!
