    He was testing the speed hooks 2.0 rev 10 but instead of wearing the Amstel, it brought down the tree. Oh well...I guess it'll be 2 more weeks. Lol

    Glad everyone was good. Any hang you walk away from is a good one!

    Best possible scenario for a tree falling in the woods - not on anyone! I am always looking for "widow makers" and healthy trees when I hang. never considered ground quality and root systems.

    I like to think, if both hammocks were hung on just 2 trees, if one of the trees were to come down, the other might catch it since they were being pulled toward each other.

    There are dangers in the piney forests that don't involve critters!
