    Cannibal - Thanks!

I wanted to express my public appreciation for the hospitality that Cannibal showed me (and my wife) on Saturday. We are complete newcomers to the hammock world and he spent nearly four hours (!) with us on Saturday answering dozens of our questions. He invited us to his home to see every type of hammock he owned and then he set them up so we could try them out. I love talking to, and being around, passionate people - Cannibal is one of the most passionate people I have met. His hospitality and friendliness were outstanding but I am sure you know this already. Thanks, guy!

Cannibal is a great friend of mine. I can't imagine him not being the friendly, jovial, easy to along with type. Welcome to HF!

No wonder it took 4 hours!

I dont think any of us know exactly how many hammocks he DOES have but his addiction is well known.

All kidding aside, you could hardly have found a better hammock ambassador or all around great guy.

Cannibal and I have something in common........................no kids.

You can buy a lot of toys if you're not supporting an orthodontist and paying for ballet lessons.

Yep, he and his family took me in on my way West last January. Great hosts. I was afraid to head down to his toy closet (basement...) while I was there because I probably would have stayed another day.

Somewhere Cannibal is standing around ... wondering what the heck his ears are burning for! Ha!

Thanks everybody (most everybody ) for the kind words. Genuine Draft has assured me that ya'll just don't know me well enough.

I showed John a few of my hammocks; Speer IIIA, WB 1.7 Traveler, TrekLight Double, HH Deep Jungle, WBBB Dbl 1.7, & a Claytor Expedition. You just saw the tip of the iceburg. I showed him the SnugFit, 3season Mt. Washington, & the Yeti. Next visit will cover topquilts and tarps.

It was our pleasure to meet you. You and your wife seem like very nice people, but just twisted enough to fit in great around here. Welcome to the forums!
