I've been thinking about using some marker tape on the trail in from the campground for those first timers to W-n-W.

that would be a good idea. There are lots of criss-crossing trails. I know I missed the left turn. Only your drag marks from the cooler you manhandled in there saved me.!!
Ron: Glad you finally got a "hall pass" to attend. I look forward to seeing you!!

I will be getting down the 2nd of November to Florida. I look forward to getting back in the woods. Will try to be there around noon on Friday if my truck is still able to run.
Good to hear from you, Jim. You got me packing boxed wine the piney woods!

Just stepped outside after dinner and it feels good out there. Hope that it holds up for the hang. Looks like it's coming together but still haven't heard from some of the others. Still have a couple of weeks though.

I'll be there Friday morning. Gonna do the long hike from the camp ground and try to not get lost.

Now you guys are making it difficult...
Have fun and give grinder a birthday hug from me!
I'm currently in Zion NP (leaving tomorrow) and have a few more weeks of exploring left if I keep my expenses low. Needless to say, the hiking has been a bit different. So far the most extreme (to the point that it was almost difficult to enjoy, but I still did) hike was 9 miles (4.5 each way) that started at about 9,300 feet and had 2,800 feet of elevation gain, a bit above the treeline, in 4.5 miles!
Enough thread hijacking. I wish I could make it but I will make it down there eventually.
Attaching a few pictures from my last couple of days in Zion.
