Dave, once you reach Washington, will there be a full report on all your stops??
Dave, there seems to be a lack of trees there. Lets hope Washington has a few! Miss you, buddy! Have fun!

I plan on a Friday morning, noon ETA, at 630 but maybe another trail head would be better, suggestions? Dan
I will definitely work something up. I don't have lots of stories but I do have a ton of pictures

Welcome to the hang Danin. Had to read your post a couple time before realizing the '630' wasn't 6:30AM but was CR630. Thinking to myself, will it be morning, noon or 630 ? AM PM ? Then there was the 'Oh yeah, I get it now'
As far as the trails in to the campsite. I've only been in once 3 years ago and that was from the campground parking lot. The CR 630 entrance is a shorter hike in but I can't say what the hike might entail. I plan on marking the trail with tape, orange, from the campground to the campsite. I may come out the short trail Sunday just to see what's there. See you at camp.

Remembering the deep sand there, I might bring my snowshoes on this trip! Lol

Dave, missed you and glad to hear your having fun out of the flatlands. Come home for HangCon.
I will miss this hang again this year. Too many issues need tending to. Happy Birthday to my Mexican loving brother. And remember, I'm PR.
Looking forward to the trip reports so take your cameras.
Enjoy and have fun with your family, before they have fun without you
OD, sorry for my poor choice of words.
I have been looking at Google Earth and the forest service maps. From the Campground there seems to be a service road going almost due west that intersects Blue Trail. Southeast and then southwest on Blue Trail (about half a mile) intersects Bay Trail. West on Bay Trail for .2 miles to Wood Duck Campsite. Is this the route from the Campground to Wood Duck Campsite?
