Mystery Top Quilt

Sorting out my gear for my upcoming hang this weekend, and I found I have two TQs. One is an ENO 35'f TQ and the other is a mystery.

Its multicam, but has no tags on it anywhere (so no idea who made it). It feels like it has more fill than the ENO but I have no idea what rating it is. It has a snap-footbox (if i recall correctly).

I searched all my emails - found emails for every other hammock related item, except the Multicam TQ. Searched these forums as well, for my posts with 'multicam' in them. Nadda. A year ago I was talking about a multicam UQ. But I am pretty sure its a TQ that I have.

Is there any way to 'test' the TQ to see what rating it is for temps? I am thinking about bringing it with me (either way) this weekend, using a thermometer to get a reading of night-time temps, and see how warm it is.

I wish I had mysterious gear show up at my house....

Well, its either going to be warmer or cooler than my current top-quilt. It doesn't have a draft collar.

Maybe I will test it out in my bed tonight. If it makes me hotter than the other, then I know its for cooler weather. I find it very strange that I don't have a record of it anywhere.

Lay it out as flat as you can and let it fluff up and measure its loft. Then check thischart​to get an idea of what the rating might be. This is not a guarantee rating but should be close.
