    dumb question of the day?!

Read people all of the time referring to a warm sleeper or a cold sleeper. Please give me a definition. Is a cold sleeper a hot-natured person who uses minimal covers or just the opposite?

I've always thought that a cold sleeper was someone who got cold easily.

My understanding is that a COLD sleeper needs MORE COVERS.

I think the definition you give to a cold sleeper would be attributed to a warm sleeper by most everyone on this site.

I'm glad this has been cleared up.
When I first heard the term, I took it to mean a cold sleeper could sleep in colder temperatures than a warm sleeper, similar to Redbanks definition.

    I'm a "cold sleeper"!!
Meaning... I sleep cold if I don't put lots and lots of covers on me!!
My husband is a "warm sleeper"
meaning...he sleeps warm with very little covers on him.
Put the same covers on both of us and I will sleep cold and he will sleep warm.
That's why when I made my quilts, I decided to over stuff them!!

Don't forget that there are a few people that love to brag about the low temperatures they can take. I do wonder if they really enjoy it.

I'm a cold sleeper too! I get cold very easily. If a bag is rated true to 30 degrees, it will only take me to 40 degrees.
