    Burrow 0 or 20

Got a cold trip coming up in January and cant decide on a 0 or 20. Help me make up my mind! How warm have you guys taken your 0 burrows. I would just hate to spend $300 and then be like "...shoulda got the 0!..."

Where's your cold trip going to be? Are you a warm or cold sleeper? If it's going to be anywhere less than 20 I'd get a 0.

If you're in FL, then I imagine the 20 will be fine.

Given that Floridians bring out the winter-parkers when it hits 60'f, maybe you might need the 0'F :P

All kidding aside, the coldest it ever got in Orlando was in the low/mid 30's during the 'winter' before heating back up to the 60'f+ range.

Hahaha, i know, Floridians are babies! No, we go out of state for our hiking trips. As long as it's not blown out, we'll probably be going back to the Linville Gorge and doing the east side. If not there, then we're gonna start and Springer Mountain and just head north for a coulple day, then back south for a couple more.

If your doing the linville gorge I would suggest going with the zero degree setup.

I only sleep in sleeping clothes(merino wool socks, hoody and long underwear) normally. In really cold weather I were a down hoody too. I've had my 20* burrow and incubator quilt set down to -5* with only an underquilt protector. I opted for the 20 as I wanted one set I could use year round. In the summer I can loosen the underquilt and kick the top quilt off. In the winter I can add extra layers as needed.
