what is blue moon...a beer??? never heard of it
Yes, it's a kind of beer. You're supposed to drink it with a slice of orange.

Can you say "High Maintenance"? Sure, I knew you could.

Come on, MAN LAW. Don't fruit the beer. You are drinking it, not making salad.

Having said that, I like an orange in mine. It's good in other wheat beers, Sam Adam's cherry wheat for one. And always limes in Mexican beers.

All best enjoyed from my hammock.

Blue Moon already has a hint of orange in it anyway. The slice of orange, although not needed, goes a long way to enhance the flavor. Most bars that sell Blue Moon will put a orange slice with the beer just like the slice of lime you get with a Corona.

I'm not a big drinker or a big beer fan, but the Blue Moon is some tasty stuff. BB will cut the corner off your man card for drinking the stuff, but my man card is already missing a large chunk because of my mad sewing skillz .

    Domestic Tranquility Restored!!!

Sufficient points have been earned and will (again) be cashed in to attend the SEHHA hangout in Hot Springs. I'll be coming in Friday night and will hang around (pun intended) till mid-day Sunday. So SlowHike, tune up your guitar, let's do some pickin'. Ewker: I'm tentatively planning to hike Saturday morning north-bound on the AT from Hot Springs, if you're interested. Just an outbound and back to stretch the legs; be back by lunch for some afternoon pickin and hangin out. Whoo-hoo!! I can't wait! See y'all there!

    Fishbone,

what time are you planning on leaving Friday? I don't get off work until 4:30 and by the time I drive home it is 5:00. I will have everything ready to load into the car. You interested in riding together to help in the cost of gas?

I talked to Neo and he is still thinking about coming up with his boys.

oh yeah a hike Sat morning would be great!!!!

Ed sent this out this morning.

"Everyone is invited to join us for the next hammock campout June 8-10
at Hot Springs, NC! Several folks have already let me know they will
attend, so it promisses to be another great campout. Our last campout
in April was well attended with plenty of home-made hammocks and gear
and the June campout is shaping up to be the same.
Remember, everyone is invited no matter which hammock you have--we
also enjoy first timers and ground-sleeping hammock wantabees!

Speer Hammocks will provide hots dogs & slaw for the Saturday Night
Hot Dog Roast, but anyone wishing to bring additional food to share
will be appreciated. Things like chips, dip, salad, chili, potato
salad, cookies, brownies, etc will be eagerly accepted! Everyone
    should bring their own drinks.

Saturday, June 9th is the Bluff Mountain Bluegrass Festival with
plenty of home-grown music in the park only a 2 minute walk from our
campsite. Anyone wishing to bring their own insturments should feel
free to do so--we might have our own jam session at our campsite!

More details of the campout can be found at:
    http://www.speerhammocks.com/Assets/HotSpringsJun07.htm

Letting me know you're coming isn't required, but it would give us a
better idea of how many hot dogs to bring--just email me a short
    message off line."
