"WaHHA!" is Watoga Hammock Hangers' Association (in West Virginia)

18 of us gathered at Watoga State Park this weekend - the 3rd October in a row that the park has welcomed hammocks to its Riverside Campground. After a great time in this beautiful 10,000 acre park, we decided unanimously to do it again next year, and it's to be called WaHHA! (The exclamation mark is part of the name, and the accent is on the first syllable, Wa, except when you say it because you've just found a lost tent stake, in which case it's on the second.)

The weather was beautiful, if a bit crisp. The low was 33° F. Saturday and 27° F. this morning. We had nice fires both mornings and evenings with firewood provided by the park at modest cost. The raffle featured all goods donated by individuals, and it paid for our campsites, firewood, and left a nice donation for the Watoga State Park Foundation. Thanks to all!

No trees were damaged in this hang.

    A hang with great entertainment!

A hang with hiking to a secret treehouse! (Well, not really a treehouse but we can pretend!)

A hang with beautiful fall weather!

    A hang with great views!

A hang with friendly dogs in matching sweaters!

A hang with a one of a kind super adjustable insulated bridge hammock as a raffle prize!

Good food, great people, dogs, rustic cabins, excellent weather, a bike trail, a river with trout fishing, a wonderful campground, the list of great things at this hang just goes on and on!

Thanks WV for the invite to Watoga. Always a good time.

Lol, That was impromptu. Firefly did it first and then she was nice enough to hand over "THE STICK OF POWER." It just kept going from there. It may become a WaHHA Sunday morning tradition though.
