I received these with my last order, they look awesome. Quality. I'm surprising my wife on Christmas, we have been trying to figure out how to hang close in our own hammocks since i bought our first enos. Perfect solution.
    Thanks again Dutch elves.

    Everything is much clearer. Thanks.

What's the widest space you would suggest before it becomes unmanageable?

I went with the 36" for my girlfriend, HF user Wahookie, and I. We each sleep in opposite directions, me left and she right, so we needed to be sure we wouldn't be butting heads or feet when we hang together. We found that it works better with both of our heads in, and feet out.

She does dip down a bit when I get out, so we had to make sure we set the hammocks high enough off the ground to allow for this. On the second night, she didn't notice when I had to get up to water the woods a few times that night. I think she gets used to it the more we use em.

As for the tarp, I have a Wilderness Logics Bullfrog tarp. It's a big tarp, with doors. We pitched it wide, with the timeouts at the head end up on hiking poles to allow as much clearance as possible. I have sense sent the tarp up to 2QZQ to have ZQ install their pole mod. That should really open It up for the two of us, and prevent any rubbing of the tips when getting in/out of the hammocks.

I just found out about the spreader poles thanks to Syntax's new video. I am curios if the bars would work with carabiners or would I have to invest in a new suspension system? Right now I am using the ENO slap straps. This sounds like the ideal equipment for my wife and I.

You could attach a short cord onto your slap strap that ended with a small loop just big enough for your spreader bar tip. This could be in various forms, but it would save you from having to spend more on suspension doo-dads (if that is your goal).

    That's a great idea. Thanks.
