A little splicing goes along way.

I always carry extra zing it/lash it with me. Either camping or edc. I have had to repair,patch and replace many things. I carry a few paperclips to make a splicing tool with. I have had to make many loops for gear for me and the scouts. On the last scout trip I made continuous loops to help a scout keep his hammock and straps together.

Today I fixed my watch. Those strap holder thingies that hold the end of the strap to the band so it doesn't flap around. I spliced 2 mini adjustable loops and finished it with an overhand knot. I will burn off the ends to make them cleaner.1029150928.jpg
