Yeah, you'll want that 20 I think. I'm a cold sleeper and I use a zero anytime its below 50. For a pretty good while when you start, you won't have to worry about being too warm, and by that time you'll be a pro with your setup and figure out how to vent and other little tricks. At some point though, you'll want just a light pad instead of the UQ.

I think you're making a big mistake trying to get by with only one quilt. That was what I did when I started hammocking and I roasted in the warmer months with my 20 degree Yeti. I now have a HG 40 degree Phoenix and a 20 degree Incubator and can highly recommend both. I assume you're gonna swap out the top cover when things warm up so you can change quilts at that time. I also assume $$$ is not an issue since you sprung for a Cuban fiber tarp. Good luck!

Probably the end of the second week, around the 12th. I want to go to the AURA Music Festival in Live Oak, FL the week before. Disco Biscuits are playing, and the entire 3 days is primitive camping with plenty of trees to hang from

my friend, Kayak Karl, always the sensible one! If you start after April 15, you need less... but between March 1 and April 15, you can count on freezing
