Just received an e-mail today from the downlinens.com newsletter that says they're running a 25% off promotion valid on everything until tomorrow 10/31 at 11:59PM PST.

They sell down by the pound in various fill powers, plus water-resistant for $5 more per pound. Free shipping as well. A pound of 800FP WR grey down came out to $86.24 or $5.39/oz. I don't know anywhere else to buy hydrophobic down at this price.

I have no affiliation with them, just trying to pass along the discount to DIY'ers.

Anybody know how often they do this? I need a couple pounds of 950fp but I'd rather get it in a few months because I'm not planning to make the quilts very soon. But if this is a rare sale, I'll jump on it now.

They always have a 10% off coupon, just subscribe to their email newsletter and they should send it.

Other than that, the last time I saw a discount (30%) was late last November around thxgiving/black Friday. I figure this might be it for this year, and risking it by waiting to 5% more is kind of silly. I would advise jumping on this deal now.

I got 2lbs last night!

I've been waiting for them to do a sale since January.
I did some guesstimating back then to figure out what I'd need so I could take advantage of the next sale.

As far as I can tell, they only do this once a year but the time of year seems to vary wildly.

I haven't tried the 10% off code for signing up but it sounds like its only good for bedding. I doubt it will work on the down by the pound.
