I have been hammock camping for years, in the BWCA and on the Superior Hiking Trail. I'm a 60-year old woman. My go-to hammock is an older HH backpacker asym, with JRB underquilt and Enlightened Equipment top quilt. I bit the bullet and bought a cuben rainfly from Z packs. I make my own whoopee slings and tree straps. Almost (not quite) as light as tent camping but much more comfortable
