    Greylock 4...

    Hello-hello,

Just thought that this was an appropriate place to drop this little tidbit...

I purchased a Greylock 4 on a Friday (late), it shipped on Monday (early), arrived on Wednesday. That's fast!! Fkr what it's worth, I tested it out on Thursday!

It kept me warm and toasty down to 20° F, which was the overnight low. I am impressed with both the quality of the product as well as the level of service.

I am looking forward to many, many more toasty nights with the Greylock 4!

Enjoy your purchase. It's a great quilt. Don't forget to add the prussicks to the suspension, it makes a huge difference!

That's great advise, thank you. I'm still new to this hobby and prussicks didn't occur to me. I'm pretty tall too, so being able to utilize the full length of the quilt will be nice!

I have no doubt you'll be sleeping snug as a bug shortly! Let us know what you think once you try it out.

Sorry to hijack your thread.. but the recent sale on JRB has me on the hunt for an UQ. I don't think I'll ever have a need for the greylock 4. Whats the lowest anyone has taken the greylock 3 to comfortably?

I have had a GL3 down to 25. It was a lil cold. I wouldnt hesitate to use it down to 32 tho. I have since gotten a MW4 which I will use for anything under 32.

I went back and forth between the 3 and 4. I really wanted to start doing some cold weather camping, so in the end, the 4 won out.
